About: Bloom OT and Wellness will be hosting neurodiversity-affirming social groups for children to connect, play, and build self-advocacy skills beginning this fall. Groups will be held in 8-week sessions and will be limited to 5 children, similar in age, with a staff ratio of 1 adult: 2.5 children. Staff will facilitate connection between participants and support social problem-solving skills in a sensory-friendly environment. Please note that this is NOT a social skills program that teaches neurodivergent children to "mask". Instead, we aim to create positive social interactions and improved self-confidence for children while also honoring and respecting the way their brains naturally function.

The Kindness Gathering

About:"It's better to light one candle than to curse the darkness." An act of kindness is a light in our world, and the more we practice them the greater the light. 19 days ago, we introduced the idea of doing one act of kindness a day, so we could form a habit of kindness and watch that light expand in our own hearts, homes, and communities. This event is a follow-up Kindness Gathering where we'll meet to share our experiences with doing -- and receiving! -- acts of kindness. Science shows that practicing acts of kindness makes us happier -- but it also shows that even just witnessing or hearing about acts of kindness has a positive effect on our minds and bodies! This event is all about sharing those positive effects, spreading the light, and bringing more hope, happiness, and healing to our world -- starting with our little corner of it. If you didn't participate in the 19 Days to Kindness project, please don't worry -- you will receive the resources in the confirmation email when you register. Everyone is welcome to come and participate, wherever you are in this journey towards greater kindness. Whether you've been a kindness fan for years or simply want to hear some good news, we invite you to be part of this special event! Sunday Shadow Somatics

About: Sunday Shadow Somatics aka CHURCH for the Feral Feminine. A monthly 90 minute practice that includes, shadow work, somatic yin yoga, breath awareness, guided meditation, and lectures for collective transformation. These 90 minute sessions occur monthly on the first Sunday of every month at 11am Eastern time. No previous experience necessary. These classes are beginner friendly, with variations offered for injuries or pregnancy, and are trauma informed. Sessions are live, but recorded for easy accessibility. What you'll get: A monthly practice that combines shadow work and somatic yin yoga to offer a soulful space for women to gather. A different theme based on the rhythms and cycles of nature and the wild woman.
